VynImpact™
A delivery contract, not a framework.
Six phases. Six concrete outputs. Every gate requires proof before proceeding. No assumptions. No ambiguity. No shelfware.
Why most transformations fail to prove value
Most programs fail not because of technology - but because outcomes were never properly defined, architecture was decided mid-build, and adoption was treated as an afterthought.
VynImpact™ eliminates every one of those failure modes - before they occur.
Each phase. One output. No exceptions.
Each phase produces one output. That output unlocks the next phase. Nothing proceeds without it.
“You cannot fix what you have not measured.”
We begin every engagement with forensic investigation. Before any solution is proposed, we understand the real problem - not the perceived one.
→ Baseline feeds the Map phase business case.“Every KPI agreed before a sprint is planned.”
With the baseline established, we build the business case and align every stakeholder on outcomes. Every metric is defined before delivery begins.
→ Roadmap locks the scope that Plan architects.“Architecture decisions made before build begins.”
Plan eliminates late-stage architecture surprises and integration complexity discovered mid-sprint. Every technical decision is made before a single line of code is written.
→ Blueprint is what the Activate sprints execute against.“Build fast because the planning was thorough.”
Activate is where we build - with every dependency resolved, every stakeholder aligned and every risk mitigated in advance.
→ Go-live output feeds the Change & Adopt program.“The best solution fails if people do not use it.”
Change & Adopt runs in parallel from day one - not as a post-delivery afterthought. We measure adoption with the same rigour applied to code.
→ Adoption data feeds the Track phase KPI measurement.“ROI is not claimed. It is measured and proved.”
Track closes the loop. Every outcome is measured against the baseline established in Investigate. Then the scaling plan extends the program enterprise-wide.
→ Proof loops back - scaling evidence becomes the next Investigate baseline. What people ask us
before they agree to it.
A gated framework sounds like overhead to anyone who has sat through a stage-gate programme. These are the four objections that come up, and the honest answers.
Is this waterfall with new labels?
No. What is sequenced is evidence, not delivery. Work inside a phase is iterative, and Activate runs in sprints. The only fixed rule is that a phase cannot open until the previous one has produced its named output.
Does a gate mean a three-week delay?
A gate is a check that an artifact exists and has an owner, not a committee. Most take a working session. The delay a gate prevents is the one where month five discovers that month one assumed something untrue.
What if the business changes mid-programme?
Then Map reopens and the roadmap is re-committed. Changing direction is normal; changing direction without re-baselining the outcome is what makes value impossible to prove afterward.
Can we start somewhere other than Investigate?
Yes, where the earlier output already exists and stands up to review. If it does not, we say so rather than inheriting an assumption and carrying it to go-live.
What changes when
a programme runs on it.
Every engagement,
across all seven practices.
The framework is not a methodology we sell separately. It is how every practice runs, which is why the phase names appear against the capabilities on each practice page.
The framework is one sentence.
The rest is holding to it.
No phase opens until the previous one has produced its named output, with an owner against it. That is the whole of VynImpact. Everything else on this page is a consequence of taking that seriously.
It is also the part most programmes skip, because skipping a gate always looks like speed at the time and only looks like cost later.
